John Deere Commits to $20 Billion US Investment Over Next 10 Years

During its recent 2025 Q2 Earnings Call, John Deere revealed its commitment to the U.S. market, with Deere & Company Chairman and CEO John May announcing a $20 billion investment over the next decade. This investment seeks to funnel more funds into U.S. manufacturing efforts and alleviate some of the U.S. government’s recent tariffs that are projected to greatly impact the farm equipment manufacturing industry.
Additionally, due to John Deere’s significant U.S. presence and high USMCA content, Deere intends to offer customers and dealers as much pricing stability as possible throughout this time. No major pricing changes are expected to be implemented, and unlike Deere's competitors, they do not intend to add levies or surcharges.
In connection with this announcement, John Deere is also launching a paid digital campaign across the Midwest and in the Washington, DC market to highlight this investment, the company's U.S. impact, and its ongoing commitment to U.S. customers.
Since 2019, John Deere has invested $2.5 billion in 60 facilities across 16 U.S. states, and $80 billion in U.S. suppliers. They have also invested $100 million in American factories in 2025 alone.
John Deere has a strong history of U.S. investments, and this recent announcement further establishes the nearly 200-year-old company’s commitment to building and maintaining U.S. jobs.
