Movember Contest & Fundraiser | Belkorp Ag
For No-Shave November this year, Belkorp Ag hosted a Movember contest to grow hair, raise awareness and raise money for men’s health.
The Movember Foundation funds groundbreaking work in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. We raised $845 for the great cause, with 67 of our employees participating in the contest.
The winners for each location received a $25 Visa gift card, and Belkorp Ag donated $25 to the Movember Foundation to match each one. The overall winner won a $50 Visa gift card, and Belkorp Ag donated an additional $50 to the foundation.
While the Movember Foundation focuses on growing a mustache during the month of November, Belkorp Ag opened it up to whatever employees wanted to do. With everyone interpreting the challenge a little differently, we ended up with some pretty diverse results.
Some Belkorp Ag employees opted just to grow a mustache, some chose not to shave at all, and others decided to transform their facial hair in fun and creative ways. Take a look at some of our winners and participants below.
Kevin Neely, our Merced Account Manager (pictured above) was the Merced store winner. He was also awarded the title of Overall Belkorp Ag Movember Winner! Awesome job, Kevin! Other winners included Daniel Jones from our Stockton Store, Sergio Guzman from our Calistoga store, Paul Moore from our Santa Rosa store, and Larry New from our Modesto store. We want to give a big “Thank You” to all 67 of our employees who supported such a great cause. Now, enjoy the rest of the photos! (You can click on each photo to enlarge.)
